Dr. Helen Amiola is a board-certified neurologist and fellowship-trained clinical neurophysiologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered neurological care. She evaluates and treats adults with a broad range of neurological conditions, with an emphasis on thoughtful evaluation, accurate diagnosis, and individualized treatment.

Dr. Amiola earned her medical degree from Obafemi Awolowo University and completed her Neurology residency at Tulane University. She subsequently completed fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology at Louisiana State University, where she received advanced training in EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, and the evaluation of disorders affecting the brain, nerves, and muscles.

Her clinical background includes both hospital-based and outpatient neurology, giving her broad experience in evaluating common as well as complex neurological conditions.

Dr. Amiola believes that excellent neurological care begins with listening. She strives to ensure that patients feel heard, understand their diagnosis and treatment options, and are actively involved in decisions about their care.
